Bio
Maria Mruzek is a wife and mother of four grown sons. She and her husband, Dan, live in Fairport, NY, and enjoy camping and outdoor activities. Maria is an active member of the St. John Fisher Columbiettes Auxiliary 3676, and Dan is the Grand Knight of the Bishop McQuaid Knights of Columbus Council 7085. Maria has a passion for planning events and providing hospitality to others, and is a co-founder of the Rochester Catholic Women’s Conference. She is also a licensed but semi-retired physical therapist and loves to read, garden, cook Italian food, and spend time with her family and friends. Maria takes to heart the advice of St. Padre Pio: “Pray, hope and don’t worry!” and is pleased to share her faith and hospitality with the community, partners, faculty, and students at St. Bernard’s.
