During the Lenten season, the Church throughout the world enters a time of reflection and repentance in anticipation of Christ's Passion, Death, and Resurrection. In addition to prayer and fasting, almsgiving is one of the means by which the Body of Christ is called to give of themselves in service and sacrifice to others.
A member of St. Bernard's Board of Trustees is excited about all of the great things going on at our School. For Lent this year, one of his forms of almsgiving is pledging to give $700 each week to St. Bernard's, and he invites you to add to his donation!
