St Bernard’s School of Theology and Ministry, together with the local members of The National Association of Catholic Nurses-USA, invite you to hear international speaker and author, Dr. Gosia Brykczynska, PhD, RN, OCV, share the extraordinary life and legacy of Bl. Hanna Chrzanowska, the first lay Registered Nurse to be beatified. Her story of faith, courage, and love of her people in occupied Poland during World War II, as well as her establishing professional nursing education and developing community and parish nursing during a time of great turmoil and danger, have given cause for her canonization.
Dr. Gosia is a member of the Kraków Catholic Association of Nurses and Midwives; the UK Association of Nurses and Midwives; the International Association of Catholic Nurses and Midwives (CICIAMS based in the Vatican); and the Guild of Catholic Writers.
