Foundation in Catholic Bioethics
This course will identify themes in Catholic Moral Theology relevant to bioethics and the major principles of Catholic medical ethics. We will find and utilize church documents that have shaped the development of Catholic bioethics. We will utilize resources pertinent to bioethical decisions made in accordance with Church teaching and identify and discuss bioethical issues pertinent to the beginning and ending of human life, as well as emerging bioethical issues.
